CanZion-webCanZion Group and Provident Music Group announced a strategic agreement between the two companies Jan. 20. Through this alliance, CanZion has acquired the rights for the manufacturing and distribution of Provident films and music throughout the Spanish market in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Latin America and Spain.

Luis Quinelli, CEO of CanZion, said it was a joy to begin distributing Provident products in CanZion’s established markets. He emphasized the company’s belief that Provident’s products will be well-received in the Spanish market while also helping to fulfill CanZion’s purpose to honor God in all of its product offerings.

Lesley Serpa, Provident’s international sales and marketing director, called CanZion a distribution leader in the Spanish-speaking world. She believes CanZion is at the forefront in production and distribution of films, and she said Provident wanted its catalog in expert hands.

CanZion also recently announced the launch of CanZion Home Media, a new audiovisual resources division, whose catalog includes established Provident films including Fireproof, Facing the Giants, Courageous and The Grace Card, as well as new films such as Ring the Bell and Home Run. The new division will feature TV broadcasting rights, video on demand and streaming services in the Spanish-speaking market, as well as physical distribution of DVDs and other resources.
