Family Christian Stores has partnered with author Boyd Bailey to raise $10,000 for orphans in Kenya this summer.

Through Aug. 3, Family's customers can sign up for Boyd's free daily Wisdom Hunters Daily Devotional emails.

"With your subscription, $1 is donated to the cause in Kenya—up to $10,000," company officials said. "The funds will go toward building classrooms in Karundas Children's Home—providing orphans with desks, supplies, materials and a chance to learn. ... After subscribing, you can choose to donate and further support orphans in Kenya. With your donation, they'll have a safe, academic environment to learn and build their faith."

Bailey is the founder of Wisdom Hunters, an Atlanta-based ministry that seeks to encourage "Christians—aka wisdom hunters—to apply God's unchanging truth in a changing world," according to his website.

He has written several "Wisdom Hunters" devotional books, published by Smashwords and Wisdom Hunters. Bailey's daily devotional emails are sent to more than 100,000 subscribers through Family Christian, company officials said.
