Tyndale House Publishers has reached an agreement to exclusively distribute the "Adventures in Odyssey" (AIO) video series, with new packaging, branding and consolidated marketing to start this month. Produced by Focus on the Family, AIO was previously distributed by both Tyndale and Thomas Nelson.

Each of the 17 DVDs, created for children ages 6 to 12, features a 30-minute episode based on the AIO audio series, with more than 700 story dramas produced since 1987. The video titles include The Last Days of Eugene Meltsner, Baby Daze and The Knight Travellers, which retail for $12.99 each. The series features integrity-building stories centered around Whit's End, a small-town ice cream emporium run by John Avery Whittaker.

Though initially created for children, "Adventures in Odyssey" has built a fan base of teens and adults as well, drawing the attention of more than 2 million listeners each week with more than 20 million audio albums, books and products distributed by Tyndale. Last year marked the 25th anniversary of the program.
