Courageous

, the widely anticipated follow-up from the makers of the hit movie Fireproof, will be shown at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) in Atlanta, next month.

To be released in theaters nationwide Sept. 30, Courageous—which addresses fatherhood through the lives of four police officers—will be screened twice Tuesday evening, July 12, in the Georgia World Congress Center's Sidney Marcus Auditorium.

Other inspirational films to be screened at ICRS include Doonby, scheduled for Monday, July 11. John Schneider—Bo Duke of The Dukes of Hazzard who also stars in Doonby, the story of a mysterious drifter who comes to a small town and turns it upside down with his revelations—will be at ICRS. Scheduled for release in September, the pro-life film features a cameo by Norma McCorvey, who was Jane Roe in the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case that legalized abortion.

Also screening Monday during the show is The 5th Quarter, a 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment film that saw limited release in theaters earlier this year. Based on the true story of the Abbate family, the faith and football drama shows how they came through the tragic loss of 15-year-old Luke Abbate. Hosted by Provident-Integrity Distribution, the screening will feature the Abbate family discussing their experience.

On the same day, Big Idea will show VeggieTales' The Little Drummer Boy. Based on the popular Christmas song written by pianist Katherine K. Davis in 1941, the DVD will hit Christian stores Oct. 1.
