Several Christian authors and artists are being featured in the "Extraordinary Women" conference series, which began last month in Tulsa, Okla., and will run through November.

Presented by Premier Productions, the eight, two-day events will include Extraordinary Women's founder and author Julie Clinton as well as speakers Karen Kingsbury, Angela Thomas, Stormie Omartian, Sheri Rose Shepherd, Lysa TerKeurst, Michelle McKinney Hammond, Chonda Pierce, Anita Renfroe and Donna VanLiere. Musical guests include Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, Mandisa, Mark Schultz, Mark Harris, Charles Billingsley, Adie and NewSong.

"Everything we do is designed to help women grow closer to the heart of God and those they love dearest," Clinton said. "Our mission is to host events and provide resources that equip women to handle life's difficulties, while enriching their hearts, encouraging their souls and expanding their ministries."

Meanwhile, Kingsbury and pop-rock band Hawk Nelson have joined the lineup of the Life and Faith Tour. In addition to Kingsbury, 20 other authors, including Andrew Farley, Debra White Smith, Kathleen Fuller and Amy Clipston, are scheduled to appear in the tri-city tour-set for Richmond, Va. (June 19); Rockingham, N.C. (July 10); and Atlanta (July 24).

"There's nothing better than spending a full summer day being inspired by today's top Christian artists and speakers," said Kingsbury. "The best thing about the Life and Faith Tour is that we'll be hanging out together-my family and yours."
