Christian.com domain name set for auction

Rick Latona Auctions (RLA) has announced that the auction of the domain name Christian.com will take place Oct. 27 in New York City in combination with the T.R.A.F.F.I.C domain conference.

"Christian.com is an ideal name for Christian book publishers, Christian record labels, large churches, ministries and many other business models," said David Clements, president of RLA. "The branding and marketing potential is limitless with a name that strikes as hard as Christian.com.

"Several organizations worldwide have already expressed an interest in a pre-auction purchase of this domain name," Clements added. "Christian.com is currently ranked No. 2 on Google.com for the search term ‘Christian' ... (and) Christian.com has the potential to bring products, services or ministry to millions of users monthly."
