The three books--all June releases--were Tea With a Twist by Lisa Boalt Richardson with photography by Lauren Rubinstein, An Invitation to Tea by Emilie Barnes and artist Sandy Lynam Clough and Take a Little Time for Tea by Kathy Hatch.

In 2008, Emilie Barnes and artist Susan Rios were also honored with The Tea House Times' Seal of Approval award for their Harvest House gift book Christmas Teas of Comfort and Joy.

The award is given to businesses whose products are approved by The Tea House Times staff after a testing and review process. Touted as "preserving the traditions of afternoon tea," The Tea House Times is a bimonthly publication that offers recipes and etiquette as well as book and product reviews.
