Free MP3 audiobook of ‘Summer Promise’

Celebrating 21 years since the release of Summer Promise (Multnomah Books), the first book in her "Christy Miller" series, Robin Jones Gunn is giving away a MP3 audiobook of Summer Promise on Saturday, Aug. 15. Since its release in 1988, the book has sold more than 600,000 units.

Gunn--who will host a pre-release party for her Facebook friends on her fan page--will begin the promotion tomorrow, Aug. 14, at midnight PDT through Saturday, Aug. 15, at midnight PDT on her Web site.

During her pre-release party, to be held Aug. 14, 5-7 p.m. PDT, Gunn will also give away prizes such as signed posters of book covers.
