NavPress employee Jennifer Sauls is offering a highly personal endorsement of the publisher's new The Message Remix Solo: Pink Edition, a Christian retail channel exclusive Bible offering encouragement to women with breast cancer.

A breast cancer survivor herself, Sauls affirms that "wherever you are in your journey ... there is hope in the Lord," in a video message to stores that is part of the Christian Retailing Virtual Christian Retailing Show.

The NavPress video presentation is one from more than 20 suppliers taking part in the Web-based event, which offers product information and specials. The Pink Edition is being offered at 52% off retail price to virtual show visitors-the same special offered to those attending the International Christian Retail Show in Denver, last month.

In addition to explaining more about its breast cancer initiative, the NavPress virtual show presentation highlights a video message from Avery Willis about Learning to Soar, the book he wrote with his grandson, Matt Willis. There is also a downloadable order form and a link to the NavPress catalog.

Since it was launched July 20, the Virtual Christian Retailing Show has welcomed almost 2,000 visitors who have viewed more than 3,400 pages. Running through Aug. 31, the event will also feature Webinar training for stores, with Carpentree's "Successful Art and Gift Sales" to take place tomorrow (Aug. 4, 2 p.m. Eastern). Retailers can reserve a spot by going to http://vcrs.christianretailing.com/webinars.php?which=1.

The training sessions will be recorded for subsequent viewing at the site, which will also host author and artist release parties. There is also a link to a new social networking forum through which retailers and suppliers can connect for fellowship, encouragement and business.

"We have been very pleased by the response so far to the virtual how," said Christian Retailing Publisher Dave Condiff, who created the virtual show to connect suppliers with retailers unable to attend trade show events in person. "We believe that this is an innovative and cost-effective way forward for everyone."

Further Virtual Shows will follow, spotlighting seasonal and other special-focus selling opportunities. Stores will be able to access the information 24/7 at the Christian Retailing Web site.
