Max Lucado, the best-selling author and pastor with 65 million books in print worldwide, recently launched his latest book, Fearless: Imagine Your Life Without Fear, with a nine-day, multi-city tour to Brazil, July 19-28. Lucado will speak in five major Brazilian
cities-São Paulo, Curitiba, Brasília, Campinas, Vitória and Rio de Janeiro-about living life without fear and worry.

A church-planting missionary in Rio de Janeiro in the early 1980s, Lucado will deliver portions of his messages in Portuguese. Thomas Nelson Brasil and Lidere, an international leadership development organization, are co-sponsors of his Brazilian tour and expect more than 15,000 people in attendance.

"The Brazilian people are close to my heart," Lucado said. "It is always a thrill to return."

Lucado has sold more than 1 million books, including 300,000 copies of For These Tough Times and 120,000 of Every Day Deserves A Chance, in Brazil in the last six months.

Fearless is scheduled for release in the U.S. in September.
