IMD is a year-round resource for both international buyers and sellers as well as a tool to make planning for the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) easier and more profitable, CTAI officials said.

"During the last ICRS, I was amazed to have exhibiting suppliers tell me that 50% to 80% of their convention sales were to international buyers," said CTAI President Jim Powell. "Not only is this international market growing, but we have a way to reach these potential buyers in advance of the show. I know of several U.S.-based publishers and gift houses that use the directory as a prospect list to increase their international reach."
