 Koch Entertainment Distribution, which distributes a wide range of movies and music artists to Christian retail stores, has been renamed E1 Entertainment Distribution. The change follows parent company Entertainment One's rebranding as E1 Entertainment.
The changes were intended to help the distributor "continue to set the pace as the leading independent music and video distributor in North America," said E1 Entertainment CEO Michael Koch. E1 Entertainment Distribution clients include Cloud Ten Pictures (Saving God, the "Left Behind" series) and music labels Above Entertainment (Justin Unger, Danny Liston), E1 Music (formerly Koch Records--Twila Paris, Ashley Cleveland, the Myriad), Go Global (Margaret Becker) and Light Records (Bishop Paul S. Morton, Shirley Caesar). E1 Entertainment Distribution remains headquartered in New York City, with regional sales offices in New York City, Boston, Nashville and Minneapolis.
