Thomas Nelson’s Bible Group recently announced its new editor in chief, Bob Sennett, who has been with the company 24 years. “I couldn’t ask more of an editor in chief than what Bob Sennett brings us,” said Bob Sanford, Thomas Nelson vice president and associate publisher of the Bible Group. “His product and market knowledge are thorough; his biblical acumen ensures that we stay true to the message of the Scriptures. Bob is well-deserving of this promotion.” Sennett will be directing and coordinating the activities of Thomas Nelson’s team of Bible editors. “I had some great mentors over the years, and I want to return the favor,” said Sennett, who started at the company as a freelance proofreader. “When I’m gone, there will be a new bunch of mentors already up and running.” Sennett’s goal is to “get people into the Word,” he said. “That means providing all the help it takes to make the Bible understandable and accessible. People both inside the church and out need to discover God’s amazing revelation of Himself and the great things He has planned.” |
