 Some of gospel music's biggest stars are participating in A Gospel Tribute to President Barack Obama ($12.99, ATF Records/Central South Distribution), releasing June 9. The disc will include selections from Donnie McClurkin (“King Inside of Me”), Israel Houghton (“Send Me to the Nations”,” Jerard Woods (“I'm Gonna Make It”) and William Murphy (“Changes”).
- Michelle Obama also receives a nod on Kelly Price and Shirley Murdock's “The Curtain's Raised” and Gospel Dream winner Benita Washington delivers “This Is Your Cue,” featuring samples of speeches from the president.
- The CD was produced by Victor & Cedric Caldwell (Whitney Houston, Take 6), along with Kevin Bond, Marc Harris, Tommy Sims and Myron Williams.
