As an extension of the Loveology event he hosted in 2011, John Mark Comer, pastor of Bridgetown: A Jesus Church in Portland, Ore., has written Loveology: God. Love. Marriage. Sex. and the Never-Ending Story of Male and Female, on sale in stores Feb. 4. Two-thousand college-aged adults attended Comer’s teaching series on the theology of love. His book discusses the roles of men and women in relationships based on God’s plan for love, not American culture’s view of love and romance. Loveology is a Zondervan hardcover book retailing for $19.99.
Tyndale House Publishers is releasing an unusually titled memoir Feb. 4 by Melanie Shankle, The Antelope in the Living Room: The Real Story of Two People Sharing One Life ($14.99, softcover). New York Times best-selling author Shankle blogs at TheBigMama.com and is known for her uplifting humor.
