Tyndale House Publishers adds to its Metal Bible offerings this month with a new, diamond plate cover design. The lightweight, compact edition features a protective, matte-finish metal cover, magnetic closure and the full text of the New Living Translation. Measuring 4 1/8 by 6 1/8 inches, the Bible retails for $26.97.

The portable ESV Compact New Testament With Psalms and Proverbs releases from Crossway Books and Bibles this month in a frame design and plum color. Each Bible book begins with a concise introduction, while in the back, "Where to Find Help When You Are …" and "What the New Testament Says About … " sections help readers locate key verses on daily living. Priced at $9.99, the compact Bible in the English Standard Version features 6.4-point type and black letter text.

Danteck Group is releasing two King James text-audio Bible products May 1. Both narrated by Alexander Scourby along with other actors and actresses, the KJV NowBible Color Audio/Visual Bible Reader (4 GB) retails for $179.99 and the KJV NowBible Mini-Color Audio/Visual Bible Reader (4 GB) for $139.99. Each serves as an electronic and audio Bible with the complete KJV in viewable text and synchronized audio narration. Users can listen to the Bible through the built-in speaker or earphones. With more than 1,000 "Life Lessons" from pastor and best-selling author Max Lucado, The Lucado Life Lessons Study Bible, NKJV aims to help readers discover how they can apply the Bible to their own lives. The New King James Version Bible comes in various Leathersoft editions, including burgundy, and releases April 19. It retails for $69.99.

The Prophecy Study Bible by John Hagee, general editor, has hundreds of pages of special features that offer a broad understanding of prophetic themes, salvation, covenants and other key doctrines of the Christian faith.
