National media highlights dolls
Kerusso's "God's Girlz" dolls were noted in a report by The Washington Times on the trend away from dolls, like Barbie, which some say are too sexy for young girls.

Introduced 18 months ago, God's Girlz recently saw the addition of Imani, a black fashion doll, joining Abigail, Sarah and Hannah.

Partnership encourages giving to military families
Big Daddy Weave and contemporary Christian radio network KLOVE are launching a campaign this week to honor military families during Christmastime.

The effort comes as Big Daddy Weave prepares for the release of "I'll Be Brave This Christmas," the band's forthcoming radio single from its recently released Christ Is Come (Fervent Records/Word Distribution).

Upscale ministry boutique opens
Love's Creation, an extension of the nonprofit Harvest Time International, recently moved its upscale boutique to Seminole Town Center mall in Sanford, Fla.

Formerly located on Harvest Time's Sanford property, the boutique serves as a fund-raising tool to provide relief to disaster, hunger and refugee victims. It also supports the homeless and local youth and children's organizations.

Retailers sell more kids' tees
The Kidz Light House from Christian themed-apparel company Kerusso has been placed in more than 300 retail locations since its June launch, with reports coming in of significant sales increases in the category as a direct result.

Andrea Hawkins, manager of Harvest Christian Bookstore in Watauga, Texas, said that with the new display unit, her store has "sold four times as many kids' T-shirts in just two months compared to the entire past two years."
