After growing into one of Australia's most influential Christian gatherings, the Planetshakers conference was recently held in San Diego at The Rock Church, where it was webcast to 52 countries.

Held Jan. 17-19, the event Planetshakers Limitless Conference featured several speakers, including Rock Church pastor Miles McPherson and Cornerstone Church of San Diego pastor Sergio De La Mora, as well as the Planetshakers Band performing songs from its 25th album, Limitless, released by Integrity Music (Provident Distribution) on Jan. 15.

"We are humbled by the response we received in San Diego," said Russell Evans, founder/director and senior pastor of 8,500-member Planetshakers City Church in Melbourne, Australia. "People flew in from places like Florida and Hawaii to be part of this precious time where people were encouraged, empowered and given practical tools to return to their local church and serve with a renewed spirit, fresh energy and increase their influence and reach into their local community. America's best days are ahead.

"The theme of our conference was 'Limitless,'" Evans added. "We serve a limitless God and the people really connected to this message. ... We are looking forward to returning this year with more conferences in the USA."

During the conference, the Planetshakers Band sang "The Anthem" from Limitless, a song that www.theworshipcommunity.com encouraged worship leaders to add to their Easter song lists.

With 300 people attending its first conference in 1997 in Australia, the Planetshakers Conference has grown and is now Australia's largest youth/young adult movement with tens of thousands joining gatherings at multiple events around the world. The Planetshakers movement birthed Planetshakers City Church in 2004, the fastest growing church in Australian history—pastored by Evans and his wife, Sam.
