Lighthouse booklets 'share more'

Showing its continued commitment to marrying its products with the Scriptures, Lighthouse Christian Products has begun shipping the We All Need Hope booklet with all of its offerings starting this month.

"For several years we have wanted to share more with the end consumer than just one verse," Amelia Nizynski, vice president of marketing and design department, said. "Last year we began attaching The Power of the Cross-a 14-page booklet explaining the death and resurrection of Jesus-to all of the crosses we manufacture. The response from our retailers and individual customers has been very encouraging."

We All Need Hope is a 42-page color mini booklet with images that share God's original plan for creation, the fall of man and God's redemptive plan through Jesus. The seeker-friendly booklet was written in collaboration with Judson Poling, editor of The Journey Bible from Zondervan.

"We know that many of our gifts are given to people who are not believers," Nizynski said. "Our hope is that God will use this resource attached to a gift product to help transform lives."

Lighthouse has also developed the "New Life" line of products for baptism and confirmation. The line features a large cross, small cross, photo frame and scripture card holder, and each comes with a Your New Life booklet, also written in collaboration with Poling. Your New Life tells a new believer about the next steps of faith, including prayer, Bible study and church membership.

"For many years, some retailers have viewed books, Bibles and music as the key resources to help spread the good news," Nizynski said. "With the addition of these three new booklets to each of the items that Lighthouse sells, we hope that retailers will see more of the ministry potential of Christian gifts."
