Moody author Tammy Maltby of the Total Living Network's Aspiring Women TV show hosted Moody's Seeds of Influence women's breakfast, held at the Brown Palace Hotel yesterday. Kendra Smiley, Tricia Goyer, Ellie Kay and Jane Rubietta were among the authors who spoke on the Seeds of Influence theme. The women in attendance responded enthusiastically to author Lisa Jefferson, who told the dramatic story from her new book Called. Jefferson was the GTE Airfone supervisor who spoke with Todd Beamer when he called from United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania on 9/11.
Normally a private person, Jefferson said she now finds herself sharing her views with the media and urged each woman present to answer the question, “Are you ready to respond to whatever it is that God has planned for you?”
