Universal Designs has offered "a guaranteed sale" for two of the most popular products sold by the Deland, Fla.-based gift company.

The promotion has been highlighted in a special Christian Retailing "virtual tour" of the Universal Designs booth for those unable to attend the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS), held July 13-17 in Orlando, Fla.

In her five-minute presentation, Universal Designs President Bobbi Baugh presented "a special cyber visit offer" for every order of Pass It On message cards or VerseMarks bookmarks. "This is a guaranteed sale," Baugh said. "If they don't sell (by the end of the year), send them all back in January."

Instead of spotlighting new items, Baugh focused on the company's core products, which she described as "gotta have" items for Christian bookstores. She showed a display of Names to Remember cards, featuring the top 324 names, and Bible-based bookmarks. Baugh pointed out that the various products could be turned into acrylic giftware such as magnets, key rings and framed items.

Universal Designs' "virtual tour" is one of almost a dozen special video presentations from ICRS exhibitors to give retailers and others who were not at the show a quick overview of what they missed, and extend show specials and offers.

The special video presentations are available here at the Christian Retailing Web site.
