Flo The Lyin' Fly (Tommy Nelson), the second home video release from Max Lucado's Hermie & Friends brand, received an endorsement from KidsFirst!, The Coalition for Quality Children¹s Media (CQCM). Hermie A Common Caterpillar was previously awarded the honor. "Tommy Nelson will continue to build the Hermie brand with family-friendly products because we believe in the importance of the messages that Hermie and his insect pals offer and we know that parents value them as well," said Dan Lynch, senior vice president and publisher of Tommy Nelson.
Founded in 1991, CQCM is a national, not-for-profit organization that looks to teach children how to make good media choices, and to increase the visibility and availability of quality children's programs. The voluntary coalition is comprised of more than 10,000 media professionals, lobbyists, policymakers, child advocates, educators, parents and families nationwide.
