Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins have acquired the rights from Tyndale House to produce and distribute videos and DVDs based upon the "Left Behind: The Kids" series. "We're ecstatic to have the opportunity to grow the 'Kids' series with these new family video and DVD productions," LaHaye said. "We hope to expand the reach of these stories to a whole new group of young fans and families who can learn from them and enjoy them." Ron Beers, senior vice president of Tyndale House Publishers, added: "We are pleased to give the authors the chance to produce videos based upon this popular and important series of children's novels. We look forward to the continued success of the series."
The authors plan to begin production of the videos based on the novels early next year. More information on the "Left Behind" series can be found at www.leftbehind.com.
