Switchfoot's latest album, The Beautiful Letdown, (Sparrow/Columbia) has officially gone platinum (1 million copies).

After 14 weeks in the Billboard top 10 with their debut single "Meant To Live," Switchfoot is preparing to launch their second single "Dare You To Move" in early March with the support of a brand new video that is in the final editing stages.

The band also announced that a four-song live EP from the San Diego concert DVD that releases next week is available exclusively at iTunes.
