The Afters' 'Beautiful Love' top download |

Nielsen Soundscan has named the Afters' “Beautiful Love” as the top downloaded song on the inspirational chart for 2006. The song also received Recording Industry Association of America's Gold Certification for Digital Sales last year. Last spring, “Beautiful Love” was the theme song for MTV's reality series 8th & Ocean, which spurred the single to sell more than 90,000 digital tracks in a six-week period and more than 189,000 in 2006. In addition, the song was on four major charts, landing on the iTunes Top 100 Downloaded Songs for more than nine weeks peaking at No. 14, No. 55 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, No. 43 on the Billboard Pop 100 and No. 23 on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs. After releasing debut project I Wish We All Could Win in 2005, the Afters appeared on MTV, mtvU, ABC Family and E! “Beautiful Love” is not the only song from the group's album that has received national attention. “Until the World” has been the theme song for the ABC Family series Beautiful People for two seasons.
Currently touring on Toby Mac's Winter WonderSlam, the Afters will release a second album this fall.
