P.O.D.'s original guitarist, Marcos Curiel, has rejoined the band after his replacement, Jason Truby, decided to leave the group. The announcement came as the band was signing a new, to-be-announced record deal, according to a message at the group's Web site. The group's latest release, Greatest Hits (The Atlantic Years), released Nov. 21 (Atlantic/Rhino, Word).

The group also is to perform in New York City on New Year's Eve in Times Square in a segment for Jimmy Kimmel Live.
