In under 30 days, more than 50,000 people have downloaded Derek Webb's Mockingbird (INO) album for free as part of the Free Derek Webb campaign.

“I'm so encouraged by the response to freederekwebb.com,” said Webb, with his label reporting that concerts have grown in several cities since the launch. “It's exciting to watch Mockingbird find its way out there, out into all the cracks and corners. Audiences are consistently hanging around after shows for conversation about the topics on the record. It's definitely having the desired affect.”

Due to the buzz Free Derek Webb has created, media nationwide have picked up on the story, including the Los Angeles Times, Billboard and Nashville's The Tennessean.

The album is available for download at www.freederekwebb.com.
