Amy Grant recently was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in recognition of having sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and winning numerous GRAMMY Awards. With friends, family, industry VIPs and fans in attendance, Grant's husband, country music star Vince Gill, and A&M Records founder Jerry Moss spoke at the Sept. 19 ceremony, along with Johnny Grant, honorary mayor of Hollywood and Walk of Fame chairman.

Accepting the honor, Grant said: “I see all my family, co-workers and friends, and I have to say-nothing happens alone. Life is like a massive vessel; you don't sail alone. It's been an exciting ride.”

On Sept. 26, Grant will release her first live recording in 25 years with Amy Grant: Time Again … Live.
