GMA announces board changes |

Four new music industry representatives have been appointed to the board of the Gospel Music Association (GMA). Announced by GMA President John W. Styll was the addition to the board of Clarke Beasley, executive vice president of the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Ky., representing the Southern Gospel Music Guild; John Mays, vice president of A&R for Centricity Records, representing the GMA Academy Council; Jody Williams, vice president of writer/publisher relations for BMI Nashville, representing performing rights organization BMI; and international representative Eric Nordhoff, president of Go Global Entertainment. Seven new directors elected during GMA Music Week in April recently attended the first GMA board meeting of their two-year terms: Scott Brickell, president and CEO of BrickHouse Entertainment; Jim Chaffee, president of Chaffee Management Group; Jeff Gregg, agent for Creative Artists Agency; Jon Hull, vice president of operations for KSBJ-FM in Houston; Charley Humbard, president and CEO of Gospel Music Channel in Atlanta; Jacquelyn Marushka, vice president of public relations at Provident Music Group; Nina Williams, vice president of label operations for Provident Label Group.
Styll also announced the election of four vice presidents: Heidi Brown Lewis, vice president of marketing for Columbia Records in the Washington, D.C., area; Valerie Summers, vice president, William Morris Agency; Cheryl Moore, director of gospel marketing for Verity Records/Zomba Label Group; Luis R. Fernandez Jr., vice president of sales and marketing for Editorial Unilit in Miami.
