With 3 million albums sold, 18 No. 1 radio hits and multiple GRAMMY and Dove Awards, Audio Adrenaline has announced its final album, Adios, slated to release later this year.

The album will take a commemorative look at the 15-year career of Audio Adrenaline through the band's greatest hits along with two newly recorded songs. A special-edition package is planned including a DVD containing all Audio Adrenaline's videos, live performance footage, new interviews and interviews of artists impacted by Audio Adrenaline, including Toby Mac, Steven Curtis Chapman, MercyMe, Pillar, Relient K and Newsboys.

The band's frontman, Mark Stuart, has experienced ongoing vocal challenges. Doctors have confirmed his voice is no longer able to sustain a consistent live performance schedule, the band said in a statement.

“Fifteen years of rock 'n' roll takes a toll on the vocal chords, but I wouldn't trade a day of it for anything,” Stuart said. “Touring and making records with (band members) Will, Ben and Tyler has truly been a gift from God, as well as worshiping night after night with the greatest fans on the planet.”

Audio Adrenaline recently completed the Until My Heart Caves In tour in support of the album of the same name, which has been nominated for a GRAMMY this year. The band's recording, Bloom, was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in 1999. Audio Adrenaline won the “Song of the Decade” award in the '90s for “Big House” by CCM magazine, a GRAMMY for 2004 recording Worldwide and four Dove Awards.
