Disc jockey wins 'Gospel Dream 2005' competition Print

Brian Smith, a 23-year-old radio DJ from Port Huron, Mich., won the Gospel Dream 2005 competition, which was looking for the country's next gospel music star. The final episode of the nationally televised Gospel Dream 2005, a competition similar to the format of American Idol, is scheduled to air on the Gospel Music Channel on Dec. 1. Smith, chosen from more than 1,000 hopefuls, was signed to Sony/BMG's Zomba Music Group label.
