Project Restore www.projectrestore.org, the gospel music industry's official crisis-response vehicle, has launched a campaign to deliver Music to Restore Hope.

Project Restore has partnered with Pastor's Resource Council (PRC) Compassion www.prccompassion.org, a charitable coalition of churches, to distribute CDs, portable CD players and batteries to victims of hurricane Katrina. Items will be delivered to the Gulfport, Miss., area this month. A later distribution will be scheduled for the New Orleans area.

Complete details about making a contribution can be found on the Project Restore Web site, www.projectrestore.org.

Project Restore's other Katrina-related effort was held last month in Atlanta. Gospel Angels: A Concert to Restore Hope raised more than $120,000 in donations during a two-hour broadcast Sept. 22 on Independent TV (formerly PAX-TV).
