Fervent Records' BarlowGirl has joined LifeWay's True Love Waits Takes the Town Campaign. The campaign is a community-based strategy to raise the banner of sexual purity and to present students with a united message from churches, businesses, doctors, schools and the government.

"We look at our culture that tells us what to wear, what to watch, what to think-which can be a really a dangerous lifestyle," Alyssa Barlow said. "This only leads to heartache, and many of our problems are related to this striving to conform. We say in our songs to be different-that there is a reason God made us different and why we have different paths to walk out."
