A new Harvest House Publishers book is looking to capitalize on the publicity generated by a forthcoming film that targets proponents of Charles Darwin's theory of evolution. Recently released, the book, Exposing Darwinism's Weakest Link: Why Evolution Can't Explain Human Existence, explores how evolution is really its own worst enemy, author Kenneth Poppe said. "One of the most critical and obvious problems with Darwin's theory is that the researchers who have unearthed the 'evidence'-bits and pieces of hominid or human-like skeletons-readily admit themselves that each new find only confuses the supposed sequential development of monkeys into man rather than solves it," Poppe said. "My book includes several quotes from prominent paleoanthropologists who say things like, 'They ought to put (the new evidence) back into the ground.' " Poppe's book could receive a boost from Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, a documentary-style movie by comedian, economist and author Ben Stein that has recently generated media attention.
The film, which will debut in 1,000 theaters April 18, reveals how the scientific community and public education system have censored and persecuted proponents of intelligent design. In Expelled |
