World Vision has announced a new partnership with Authentic Media to create World Vision Press, with a mission to "create and distribute materials that inspire the church to a life-changing commitment to serve the poor in the name of Christ."

World Vision Press will publish about 10 new print and electronic projects a year in a variety of categories, including Christian living, biography, devotions and Bible study. Most of the products will be published, marketed and distributed by Authentic Media, the publishing division of Send the Light, recognized as the largest distributor of English language books and Bibles into the developing world.

The first book with the World Vision Press imprint, which will debut at the
CBA International convention, will be The Power of Generosity by David Toycen, president and CEO of World Vision Canada. The book is published in Canada by HarperCollins Canada, and will be made available in the United States and the United Kingdom through World Vision Press and Authentic Media this summer.
