Mark Kuyper, CBA's vice president for business development and marketing, has been named the new president of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association (ECPA). Kuyper will replace 68-year-old Doug Ross, the president for the last 17 years, on July 6. Ross announced his plans for retirement last year and will continue in the industry as a consultant. Kuyper will be introduced officially at ECPA's Management Seminar at Hilton Head Island, S.C., early next month, and again at the Gold Medallion Banquet on June 26 during CBA International in Atlanta. Kuyper moves to ECPA with 21 years of experience in the industry that includes time at NavPress and Family Christian Stores. Mark and his wife Vicki will relocate to Tempe, Ariz., ECPA's home base, in July.
