Standard Publishing's operations were impacted by the remnant of Hurricane Ike that hit Cincinnati at the weekend, leaving thousands in the area without power.

The publisher's headquarters and warehouse were among those hit, and the company had been told that it could be a day or two before normal operations could be resumed, President Larry Carpenter said today.

"We are working to get back up as soon as possible, and will get orders processed just as soon as we can," he said.
