Family Christian Stores has canceled its credit card program. Family and MasterCard provider Bank of America have agreed to discontinue the customer rewards service. Cardholders will still be able to use the credit card, but will no longer be able to earn Family Christian Stores Rewards Coupons toward purchases at the chain's more than 300 locations. Formerly, customers could earn one point for every dollar spent anywhere, but two points per dollar in purchases made from Family's stores, catalogs or Web site. For every 1,000 points earned, the cardholder would receive a $10 Rewards coupon. Family Christian Stores officials declined to comment about the discontinued service. |
