Apparel company Kerusso recently kicked off its Pray-Vote-Pray campaign, encouraging people to take these steps: pray for the country, vote their conscience and then pray for those in authority. Seeing prayer as a "privilege, responsibility and a command," Kerusso CEO and President Vic Kennett said: "As you prepare to fulfill your voting obligation this fall, remember to pray for wisdom in your decisions. Prayer doesn't end at the polling booth; it's just the beginning. Regardless of party affiliation or preference our obligation is to pray for those in authority over us." Kerusso is inviting people to visit its Web site and post their prayers for the country in written or video form. "When we hit 10,000 posted prayers, we will deliver these to the presidential candidates and drive home the point that there are praying voters who are concerned about the future of our country," Kennett said.
The company's Pray-Vote-Pray T-shirts reinforce the message of the campaign. For more information, visit www.kerusso.com/AboutUs/PrayVotePray.aspx.
