Joshua Harris, author of the best-sellers I Kissed Dating Goodbye and Boy Meets Girl (both Multnomah), has signed a new agreement with Multnomah Books.

"We're excited to continue working with Joshua Harris," said Ken Peterson, WaterBrook Multnomah vice president. "His new book is another opportunity to share his passion, his depth and his thoughtful reason about the essentials of Christian faith and how they make all the difference in how we live. His message is significant and will resonate widely in the evangelical world."

The new book is said to center on why theology matters in a person's daily life. Harris explained in a statement: "Our generation needs to be reminded of both the importance of orthodox truth as well as humility of heart before God and man. I want to show that studying theology isn't homework for Christians, it's about knowing the living God and it should shape every part of our life."

Harris is senior pastor of Covenant Life Church in Gaithersburg, Md. His brothers, twins Alex and Brett, are the authors of Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations (Multnomah), which released earlier this year.
