The Advanced Writers & Speakers Association (AWSA) has announced the 2008 finalists for the Golden Scroll Awards, which recognizes the editors and publishing houses that best demonstrate outstanding ministry partnerships with their authors.

Publisher of the Year Award finalists are Crossway Books, Howard Books and New Hope Publishers. Editor of the Year finalists are Philis Boultinghouse (Howard Books), Judi Perry (Beacon Hill Press) and Ramona Richards (Thomas Nelson Publishers). Fiction Editor of the Year finalists are Nick Harrison (Harvest House Publishers), Sarah Long (Bethany House Publishers) and Krista Stroever (Steeple Hill).

The winners will be announced during the Eighth Annual Golden Scroll Awards Banquet, which is set for July 13 in Orlando, Fla., prior to the opening of the International Christian Retail Show. For more information about the Golden Scroll Awards, visit www.awsawomen.com.
