The severe ice storm that swept across Oklahoma beginning Dec. 9 left much of Oklahoma without power, including Harrison House Publishers, according to company officials.

Even though emergency crews from other states have poured in to assist in restoring service to this area, power might not be restored until later this week, Harrison officials said.

On Dec. 11, nearly 600,000 homes and businesses were without electricity in Oklahoma because of the ice storm-the worst ever power outage in the state, the Associated Press reported. Nearly 350,000 other customers were also affected by outages in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Illinois.

Harrison officials have set up a temporary number for orders and customer service until electricity is restored. For more information, call 800-493-2813, or e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
