Strang Communications has signed an agreement with GodTube.com to sell online advertising on the popular Christian Internet site. GodTube.com is the latest addition to Strang's Christian Advertising Network, which will allow advertisers to reach the Web site's 2.9 million unique monthly visitors, Strang officials said. Fox News dubbed GodTube as "the Christian answer to YouTube" and Newsweek magazine called GodTube "one of the hottest sites on the Internet." According to CNN.com, ComScore, the leading digital media intelligence provider, ranked GodTube the fastest growing U.S. Web site during August in its ranking of the top 1,000 Internet properties. "GodTube is an integral part of Strang Communications providing the most highly trafficked Christian Web sites to our trusted advertising clientele," said Chris Barch, Strang's advertising director of consumer magazines. Dennis Hendrickson, Strang's Internet sales manager, added: "As we strive to help our advertisers reach more Christians online, GodTube is an essential part of providing premium exposure to an engaged audience." GodTube enables ministries to broadcast Internet videos, and online users can share, e-mail or embed their videos. Strang has been selling advertising for magazines for more than 32 years, first in print and then on its own Web sites. Now it is following a model made popular in secular circles where large "agencies" sell many Internet sites. In addition to www.GodTube.com, the network sells online advertising on www.Bible.org and Strang's magazine Web sites, including www.charismamag.com, www.newmanmag.com, www.ministrytodaymag.com and www.spiritledwoman.com.
