Marianne Filary has been appointed director of events at Zondervan, overseeing the company's involvement at trade shows and its National Pastors Convention.

Filary previously worked on Zondervan projects as a consultant event director and "brings a wealth of event leadership experience to this position and an understanding of the importance of the role events play in achieving our mission at Zondervan," said Bill Oechsler, the company's executive vice president of marketing.
