Christian Trade Association International (CTAI) is to coordinate with organizers of several international gift shows to help those attending its Marketsquare International event in Toronto, Ontario, next month, make the most of their time. While registering for the Jan. 24-26 CTAI program at the Delta Meadowvale Resort & Conference Centre, attendees will also be able to collect registration materials for some of the other gift events happening around the same time, which will offer more than a million combined square feet of exhibit space. Marketsquare International was organized after CBA announced it was scrapping its Advance winter show, to provide an opportunity for international buyers to connect with North American suppliers in one place. The event will include workshops, networking and an exhibition floor. Other events around the same time include the Toronto International Gift Fair, Jan. 25-28; the Canadian Toy & Hobby Fair, Jan. 26-28; and the Canadian Gift and Tableware Association, Jan. 27-31.
CTAI President Jim Powell said that the concurrent events would provide international buyers and Canadian retailers who had expressed an interest in attending Marketsquare an extra incentive for doing so.
