LifeWay Christian Stores has announced a grand opening celebration for its store in Newport News, Va., from Nov. 23-Dec. 29.

The new 6,000-square-foot store was to officially open today. Dan Clement will serve as manager for the store, LifeWay officials said.

"We look forward to serving people and churches by providing them with biblical solutions for life," said Mark Scott, vice president of LifeWay Christian Stores.

The Newport News store is one of seven LifeWay Christian Stores in Virginia and one of 145 stores the chain operates in 24 states.
