Retailer votes are in and the finalists have been chosen in the seventh annual Retailers Choice Awards, sponsored by Christian Retailing. More than 170 products were nominated in 25 categories this year, and the finalists have been chosen in each category.

With the highest number of titles entered in any category, the three Christian Living finalists stood out among a crowd of 15 titles. The finalists are end-times title Epicenter by Joel C. Rosenberg (Tyndale House Publishers), A Day With a Perfect Stranger by David Gregory (WaterBrook Press) and The Way of the Wild Heart by John Eldredge (Thomas Nelson). Rosenberg's The Copper Scroll (Tyndale) also made the short list in Mystery/Suspense.

Two Karen Kingsbury titles, Found (Tyndale) and Even Now (Zondervan), are finalists in Women's Fiction, rivaling Wanda E. Brunstetter's Amish fiction title The Bishop's Daughter (Barbour).

In Audiobooks, two Bibles, Inspired by … The Bible Experience (Zondervan) and The Message Remix Complete (NavPress), are competing against a popular Philip Yancey book, Prayer (Zondervan). Prayer is also a finalist in the Personal Growth/Prayer category.

The 2007 Retailers Choice Award winners will be announced Monday, July 9, at a press conference during the International Christian Retail Show in Atlanta.

Nominated products were judged on the impact they have had on staff and customers, including their ability to speak to hearts and evoke emotion, open minds to new ways of thinking and encourage and affirm Christlike living.
