"Celebrate Freedom," the largest free outdoor concert in America, which drew a crowd of more than 210,000 last year, has added a second day for the first time in the festival's 17-year history. Sponsored by radio station KLTY and Interstate Batteries, the event will be held June 29-30 at the historic Southfork Ranch in Parker, Texas, featuring performances by artists including Toby Mac, Casting Crowns, Aaron Shust, Skillet, Nichole Nordeman, Avalon, Salvador, Natalie Grant and Superchick. Returning for the third time is Livin' It, the skateboard tour founded by actor and evangelist Stephen Baldwin.
This year's event "marks a huge milestone as we now host a multi-day event," said KLTY Vice President and General Manager John Peroyea. "We are delighted with this expansion of Celebrate Freedom and pleased to offer many excellent family-friendly additions to the event this year, which everyone is sure to enjoy."
