Alive Communications Inc., a Colorado Springs, Colo.-based literary agency, has announced the hiring of Bruce Nuffer, effective June 18. Nuffer was most recently the publisher of Zonderkidz, an imprint of Zondervan. Prior to that, he was marketing director at Beacon Hill Press.

Alive Communications President Rick Christian said Nuffer “has solid industry credentials and has also written several books. Having worked on both sides of the fence, he understands the creative process and all aspects of publishing from contracts to marketing, sales and production.”

Christian added that Nuffer, who will represent both fiction and nonfiction authors, will look to expand Alive's reach into adult trade titles and the general market, while broadening the agency's base in the Christian and inspirational arenas.
