The Parable Group (TPG) has announced that Executive Vice President Tim Blair will be leaving the company June 15 to pursue a career in the hardware industry. Blair spearheaded strategic and financial planning initiatives for TPG and Parable Franchising, company officials said. He also acted as president of Parable Holdings. Parable CEO Steve Potratz noted that Blair's work in the last 11 years had "positioned us well for the future." "I have watched him grow into a great leader and I know this new opportunity is in the center of God's will for him and for Parable," Potratz said.
As vice president of sales and marketing for Trident Security Concepts, Blair will lead the sales and marketing effort for the Yeti, a new portable security system. Blair will continue his work with Books of Hours, a nonprofit that provides new books to women's and homeless shelters (www.booksofhours.org).
